Interstellar : A must watch!

"Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light."

A beautiful poem by Dylan Thomas and and a beautiful work by the Nolan brothers: Interstellar Movie!
Sometimes words are just not enough... there are epics, there are revolutionary moments, there are geniuses, there are brilliant works of art, that are meant to be just that.. allowing words to describe them is quantifying them which is next to impossible but then again I'm just one small speck in this endless universe and the last person knowledgeable enough to judge that!

But as far as my understanding goes, what I experienced today is beyond words, beyond anything I can pen down, beyond everything I expected from this movie and people who know me very well know that my expectations from a Christopher Nolan movie can never be anything less than spectacular! All I can say is Interstellar is a MUST WATCH!!

The Immortals of Meluha: A reader's perspective.

Some stories touch your heart in a way you could never have imagined. Some stories need to be told, need to be read, and need to be shared with anyone who cares enough. Some stories teach you the smallest lessons of lives that we often choose to ignore but they are the ones that actually need to be learnt.
Some characters are just extraordinary, not because that is how they are portrayed but because they have to be portrayed like that. They are someone you can connect to, you
can put your faith in, you can expect the best from and not be disappointed. They may be flawed but they are perfect humans because no human being is perfect.
The Immortals of Meluha is one of the most beautiful stories I've ever read. The shear beauty of the story is in how believable it makes the most formidable of all Gods, Lord Shiv who has always been someone I've had immense faith in. It makes Mahadev more human than God and you love the entire concept no matter your need to believe in the divine because divine is not beyond humanity but just extraordinary humanity; it does not need to be free from the worldly ties, it just needs to be wise enough to not over-indulge; it need not be perfect, just simple and accepting; it need not be about being positive always, just being untouched by negative; it need not not make mistakes, just realize it in time and then do everything in power to set it right; it just needs to be unbiased and caring! And that is what this story is about. The Tridev as not Gods but humans belonging to different eras, respecting each other, following the ideals set by each other, learning from the mistakes of each other and their own, working towards only one aim- to make a beautiful world to live in, to cleanse the world of evil and not upset the balance of the universe, the duality!
There is so much one can learn from this book... and to a person so hooked up onto mythology, this is nothing short of a divinely delicious platter of all their favourite food!
